Hello, I am Rei from Japan. I've read your entry about your experience across tongue cancer. I am very glad to read that you are going very well. My boyfriend also had tongue cancer last year. The treatment he had is very close to yours: He had chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery. The doctor removed half of his tongue and the ganglions on the right side of the neck. The treatments seem successful until now. Now the problem is that he has some troubles in speaking English: He cannot pronounce “th-” things like “they”, “there”, and “l-” things like “life”, because his tongue is too short now. I would like to ask you. Don’t you have this kind of problems? If so, please tell me how you are overcoming them.
